I have been a student of Cheryl's since I was five, and I can honestly say she is one of the most authentic, smartest, and personable trainers I have met. Without Cheryl, I wouldn't have purchased my first horse - a thoroughbred off the track - who has been in training and boarding at Broken Arrow for the last five years. Cheryl's natural horsemanship methods have proven to be successful as I, and many others, have seen with my horse's training. He has established impeccable ground manners and is starting his next career as a dressage horse under Cheryl's training. Although I am a busy college student living two hours away, I commute every Saturday for riding lessons with Cheryl because I strongly feel she best understands my horse and me as a rider. I have become a much more confident and bold rider over the last couple of years through Cheryl's guidance, encouragement, and riding advice. In addition to our training and lessons, I know that my horse receives the best care possible boarding at Broken Arrow, as Cheryl treats and cares for all of her boarders' horses as her own.
I cannot recommend Broken Arrow enough for your riding, training, and boarding needs. Regardless of age or experience, Cheryl comes highly recommended by all her boarders and students for her likeable personality, knowledge, and patience.
I am so thankful that I found Cheryl. She exemplifies the principles of natural horsemanship and is such a patient, calm, gifted trainer. As a result of Cheryl's instruction, I have gained confidence as a rider and leader for my horse. Cheryl achieves that wonderful "balance" of building the rider's confidence while encouraging growth. She has helped me to achieve my dreams!
My experience at Broken Arrow has been amazing. I have loved everything about Cheryl and her horses. When I first started at Broken Arrow I did not know much about horses even though I thought I did. Cheryl taught me what I know now, and she started by the very basics like catching my horse. She explained it very well step by step and now I own a horse. It would not have happened without Cheryl, she helped me every step of the way.
